Virginia Women and Family Support Center Announces Weekly Prenatal Yoga Program for Expectant Mothers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GAINESVILLE, VA — The Virginia Women and Family Support Center’s Carried To Full Term Maternal Health Program is pleased to announce the launch of weekly prenatal yoga sessions designed to support the physical and emotional well-being of expectant mothers in the community.
Beginning this month, prenatal yoga will be held every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in 2026 at the Virginia Women and Family Support Center’s Gainesville office, located at 14019 Glenkirk Road, Gainesville, VA 20155.
The weekly sessions will provide pregnant women with an opportunity to participate in gentle movement, relaxation, and mindfulness while connecting with other expectant mothers in a welcoming and supportive environment.
As part of the Center’s commitment to supporting families throughout pregnancy and beyond, women who attend each prenatal yoga class will also have the opportunity to receive free food, diapers, wipes, clothing, and hygiene items following the class, while supplies last.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, as only a limited number of mats will be provided by the Center.
“We are excited to bring prenatal yoga to our community as another way to support the health and well-being of mothers and their families,” said the Tyler Robin, Program Manager at the Virginia Women and Family Support Center. “We also want to make sure families have access to practical resources that can help meet their needs during pregnancy and early parenthood.”
